PAN FRIED CHICKEN WITH HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE RECIPE

Simple chicken gets a boost of flavor from a sauce made with shallots, chicken broth, wine and Jack Daniel's Honey Mustard.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ready In: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup Jack Daniel's® Honey Dijon
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/ 2 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1/ 4 cup chopped shallots
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine or beer
PREPARATION
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Place flour in a shallow bowl and coat each piece of chicken with flour, shaking off excess.
In large cast iron pan, heat 2 tablespoons butter and place 3 pieces of chicken pieces in skillet. Cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side, cooking thoroughly depending upon size of chicken. Remove cooked chicken and repeat process with remaining butter and chicken.
In same pan, add shallots and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes on low heat until they are soft. Whisk in broth, wine and Jack Daniel's Honey Mustard, increase heat to high and continue to whisk until sauce has thickened. Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
